What winners receive: publication and recording
Awarded writers and artists will be professionally published and recorded independently and/or in the annual contest anthology.
Professional publication places the winning work before readers — issued independently and/or gathered into the annual contest anthology. Professional recording preserves the work in an independently produced audio edition, so that poets and spoken word artists are not only printed, but heard.
The annual contest anthology is THE BBQA — the Brooklyn–Berkeley Quarterly Anthology, the studio’s multi-medium creative arts publication printed four times a year.
