At Studio Creative Play documentation of art and expression are key components to the experience. Creative portfolios exist as tools and records for the parent, teacher, and child to revisit their steps and enhance understanding through the various stages of the child’s creative development.

The Compassion Circle
The Compassion Circle is Studio Creative Play’s interactive conflict resolution and compassionate understanding program.
- Each week Studio incorporates a different theme into the core curriculum — themes such as IMAGINATION, WHEN I CLOSE MY EYES, NATURE, or OUR BIG, VAST WORLD.
- During free-play, children interact with each other, parents, and staff with Creative Play toys, games, and activities.
- Studio Creative Play also hosts special presentations featuring dance and theatre troupes, magicians, artists, writers, and musicians offering children rewarding exposure to artistic series.
Documentation of art and expression is a key component of the experience.
