Creative
Play insures that children’s participation
in activities and exercises is geared towards
enhancing their natural development into energetic,
imaginative expression. The Holistic Process
approach to Creative Play succeeds by integrating
diverse art forms and multiculturalism into
the child’s play schedule on a regular
basis, offering opportunities and exposure at
consistent intervals. Studio Creative Play supports
this method of learning that spontaneously emerges,
builds upon itself, and goes deeper with constant
revisiting.

Studio Creative Play documentation of art and
expression are key components to the experience.
Creative portfolios exist as tools and records
for
the parent, teacher, and child to revisit their
steps and enhance understanding through the
various stages of the child’s creative
development.

resolution and compassionate understanding program.

Each week Studio incorporates a different
theme into the core curriculum.
Themes may be those such as, IMAGINATION, WHEN
I CLOSE MY EYES, NATURE, or OUR BIG, VAST WORLD.

During
free-play, children interact with each other,
parents, and staff with Creative Play toys, games,
and activities.

Studio
Creative Play also hosts special presentations
featuring dance and theatre troupes, magicians,
artists, writers, and musicians offering our children
rewarding exposure to artistic series.
