Musical expression is one of the integrated activities in every cycle.

Inside a session

A Holistic Process approach to creative play

Participation in activities and exercises is geared towards enhancing children’s natural development into energetic, imaginative expression. Diverse art forms and multiculturalism are integrated into the play schedule at consistent intervals, so learning spontaneously emerges, builds upon itself, and goes deeper with constant revisiting.

Creative portfolios exist as tools and records for the parent, teacher, and child to revisit their steps and enhance understanding through the various stages of the child’s creative development.

Community & publication

The Brooklyn–Berkeley creative arts family

In support of artists and writers globally, Studio Creative Play of Brooklyn, New York and Regent Press of Berkeley, California present the Brooklyn–Berkeley Creative Arts Contest — with categories from novel, novella and short story to poetry, spoken word, photography and children’s picture books.

Awarded writers and artists are professionally published and recorded independently and/or in THE BBQA — the Brooklyn–Berkeley Quarterly Anthology, a multi-medium creative arts publication printed four times a year.
